About Piano Expeditions
Piano Expeditions is a summer piano camp program at Natalie’s Piano Studio for children who are excited to learn more about music. Students will enjoy a week-long adventure that introduces them to the wild and wonderful world of music with a variety of fun and memorable musical experiences.
An hour and a half of activities each day includes learning about a famous composer and a specific musical work, developing healthy piano techniques, recognizing basic rhythm notation and patterns, exploring the topography of the piano keyboard, acquiring music vocabulary, playing energetic games, improvising music at the piano, and more! Registration for the week includes a colorful student workbook, all supplies, and a daily snack.
My two sons (ages 10 & 7) love attending Piano Expeditions week-long piano camp each summer! This was their fourth year attending and every year has been a different theme with new activities and new friends to meet. We wouldn’t miss it!
My boys (ages 12 and 6) always look forward to piano camp. It has been a regularly scheduled part of our summer activities for the past few years. In fact, after our first year of piano camp 3 years ago, our older son told me that he would consider taking piano lessons only if Natalie would be willing to teach him because he has such a good time at camp. I really enjoy seeing how much they learn through all the imaginative and creative activities they participate in throughout the week.
