Casino Vote Record
September 8th, 2007 by natalie
All State Legislators will be up for reelection in 2008. After years of defeating casino-related bills in session, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 66 during the 2007 Legislative session. Praise the Lord that we were able to defeat the gambling propositions here in Sedgwick County! We can continue to take a stand on this issue by ousting the Legislators in Sedgwick County who voted in favor of the bill. Here is the record:
HOUSE
Voted Yes: Dillmore, Faust-Goudeau, Flaharty, Garcia, Goyle, Loganbill, McLachlan, Sawyer, Swenson, Ward
Voted No: Brunk, Huebert, Kelsy, Landwehr, Masterson, McLeland, Myers, Pottorff, Powers, Watkins
SENATE
Voted Yes: Betts, Goodwin, Schodorf
Voted No: Donovan, Journey, McGinn, Petersen, Wagle
A huge thanks to those Legislators who have served faithfully on our behalf and have stood uncompromisingly on this issue!
