Extra points if you can name the mountain. :-)

Ummm, that would be skiing in Colorado. And I can’t remember which mountain. Did you tell me sometime in passing?

Hope we can get together soon. :)
Thanks for the phone call yesterday. I didn’t get home until 1:30 am. *sigh* I hope those days are more of the exception and don’t become the norm.

    How was the concert?

    Lydia~

Correct. We were skiing in Colorado. I don’t remember if I told you which mountain…we actually skied at three different mountains. This is one we hadn’t been to in quite a few years, but it was beautiful!

Were you actually at work that late? Or did you just get stuck on the drive home…you haven’t been performing illegal maneuvers on the highway again, now have you? ;-)

The concert was fabulous! Wish you could have come! I ended up sitting next to an elderly lady who was also there by herself, so I enjoyed meeting and visiting with her.

    Hey Jul!
    Brings back memories, huh?

Hehe. No, I haven’t been performing any more illegal maneuvers on the highway. :)
I was scheduled to work until 11:30 that evening anyway, but I had a transfer patient from ICU around shift change (7:00) and then a new admission shortly before 9:00 pm plus all my regular night shift duties. With all that I couldn’t even begin to start on my charting, thus I had to stay two hours late to complete it. The nurse that was taking over for me was also late in getting report. It did not make for a very pleasant evening. When I woke up in the (later) morning I sure didn’t feel like going anywhere but of course I had to be at church. I think I was extra giddy at church but I didn’t fall asleep so that was a plus. :)

I just hope last minute transfers and late admissions don’t become the norm for Saturday evenings. Otherwise I will have to endure some long, tiring shifts.

At least the first eight hours were good. It’s just that the last six seemed to drag on. I could really sense God’s grace pulling me through. Even with all the challenges and exhaustion, I felt like he gave me the strength to endure and act out of his goodness rather than my own ability.
I sure am grateful for that.

Hope to hear more about your ski trip soon and whatever else has been going on. :)
