VI + II = V
Take the vertical line in the plus sign and put it in front of the V on the right side: VI – II = IV
(6 – 2 = 4)
Yes, that’s correct. There’s also one other way you can do it and still come up with a correct answer.
Take the vertical line in the plus sign and put it in front of the VI to get VII – II = V.

Take the vertical line…(and I didn’t cheat I got this by myself) place it with the V & I so it becomes a subraction problem-then subtract.
